Paimpol is a small fishing port situated on the north coast of Brittany (Côtes d'Armor) situated approximately midway between Roscoff and St Malo. It is a very pretty town with cobble stone streets lined with shops, cafés, restaurants and bars leading to the quay area where you can relax with a coffee taking in the sights and sounds of the lively port.  If arriving in St-Malo by ferry and heading west it is well worth the detour to explore this part of the Brittany coastline. There are good ferry links to this part of Brittany from Portsmouth to St-Malo or Plymouth to Roscoff via Brittany Ferries (www.brittanyferries.com)
